ZFS

ZFS is an amazing filesystem. Torvalds has said that he may start bringing the kernel over to v.3 so that Sun will bring ZFS to linux.

Whatever its effects on the open source and Linux movement, it's worth translating it. And -- disclaimer: I'm part of the project -- it has started on Traduwiki.org [1]. The more we are, the faster it gets available in different languages. What people will do with it is another story.
