I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Rugby League Football, but in Australia it is one of the main national sports.
Recently, a much-celebrated player, Andrew Johns, from my home-town team, the Newcastle Knights was caught in England with an Ecstasy tablet in his pocket. This opened up a floodgate for the media and ended with Johns admitting he had taken recreational drugs both in the on and off season while he was playing. He has only just retired from the sport, and now there are calls from all corners to ban him from becoming a member of the Rugby League 'Legends' Hall of Fame. His whole fantastic career as a football player has been marred by this admission. I was wondering if anyone had any comments about this and what their reaction would be if a national sports hero was found to be a little less than they thought.
