Which companies do you avoid doing business with for moral or ethical reasons?

In a capitalist society, every dollar you spend is very literally a vote for the ethics and values of the company you are choosing to do business with - Some would even say that these micro-votes are even more effective and important than the ones you cast for politicians.
With this in mind, which companies have you consciously decided to refuse to do business with based solely on personal ethical and moral conflicts?

Microsoft isn't morally or ethically shady, as far as I know - They just make shitty products :)
I am morally opposed to buying crap
hA! Fair enough...
Do any of you have jobs with retirement plans, like a 401(k) or 403(b)? You might check your investments to see whether you are unknowingly supporting the companies you despise. Wal-mart, McDonald's, Altria (aka Phillip Morris) and Coke are all very common holdings in mutual funds. This is a good place to start: http://www.calvert.com/sri_knowWhatYouOwn.html
