Joe Ratzinger (who some refer to as Pope Benedict XVI) recently had this to say:

[Under atheism], it seems man himself is now called to establish justice. If in the face of this world's suffering, protest against God is understandable, the claim that humanity can and must do what no God actually does or is able to do is both presumptuous and intrinsically false. It is no accident that this idea has led to the greatest forms of cruelty and violations of justice...

Why would we care what he thinks about anything?

He's never been laid,
he talks to an invisible friend in the sky,
he thinks his invisible sky friend talks to him,
he bases his life on a book written by some bronze age goat herders, and
his friends who aren't invisible tell him he can do no wrong.

The poor guy is either really dumb for being duped or he's really nuts.
